starCOM PlugIns

   Extend the functionality of the starCOM server family with features specific to your needs. PlugIns work with all starCOM servers as well as starCOMControlCenter. PlugIns maybe installed anywhere in the network. If starCOMControlCenter and either of the starCOM servers share the same installation area, then PlugIn configuration parameters will be common.  Plugin directory location is selected through starCOM configuration panel. 

Note: only Pine Tree Systems Plugins may reside in the PlugIn directory.

 

starCOMCalendar Ver 1.1

        Once a day,  at user selected time, this PlugIn will first set to false up to 6 controller flags, then set to true based on any combination of all day events within OutLook calendar. Have starCOMCalendar set your Vacation or Holiday flags based on an Outlook calendar entry.

starCOMWeatherStation Ver 1.1 

    Retrieves weather information, based on zip code, per user selected number of times per day. User selected weather information sent to controller via ASCII In. Optionally sets controller's date and time.

starCOMCallCenterVer 1.1

    Logs all incoming and outgoing telephone calls into either a daily, weekly or monthly call log. If OutLook is installed, starCOMCallCenter will look up contact information for all outgoing calls as well as for incoming calls with blocked CID.

starCOMVoice

        Speaks ASCII Out messages when user selected prefix present. Optionally announces CID. With starCOMPlus, Macros can be executed via voice commands.  Requires MS SAPI 5.1 or above.
starCOMMailRoom

        Sends email based on ASCII Out commands. Compatible with WebX email commands format. In addition, user configurable default subject and recipients to save schedule space. Receives email commands to perform a multitude of operations such as returning or setting the state of devices, flags, variables etc, executing then macros etc.
