2003   The Web-Expander was released. This is an Ethernet to Serial adaptor board that used serial port number one (Com1). Don't worry the you can still use Com1 because the Ethernet daughter board shares Com1. The board is daughter board with a daughter board that is based on Rabbit Semiconductor Microprocessor Core Modules. The install is quick and simple. The web pages are predefined and can not be modified.

JDS is working on expanding the functionally of the Web-Expander module with the soon to be announced wireless connection. The connection will be a 802.11b connection using a Toshiba E740 pocket PC at 2.4Gig. Not sure if the screen will be user definable. More control over screen layout would be a big improvement over the current web-Expander web pages.
