Fumbling for the light switch in the dark, when you have your hands full
is the pits. Besides no one likes coming into a dark house. So why not have StarGate turn
on the lights when you enter the house and it is dark. You will need to tell StarGate when you enter the house. You can do this by connect to existing security system switches that are tripped when entry doors are opened, or you can add new switches, or you could use a motion detector. The lights you desire to turn on must also be X10 controlled lights. I added a new switch to the front door and used the existing status switch on the garage door. Create an Event that checks the StarGate digital input for that switch to indicate the door was opened, then send an X10 command to turn on the desired light. You could also add a Delay or timer to turn off the light 2 or 3 minutes. Sample Code
