VERSION 2.38 CHANGE DETAILS

WatchDog Timer

The watchdog timer in the STARGATE’s microprocessor has been enabled.
The watchdog timer will reset STARGATE if it detects a halted operating
system or system hang-up.

Flags and Variables

The number of flags have been increased from 64 to 256, variables
increased from 32 to 256. The device database will be modified the
first time version 2.38 is used. This will change the device database
size. It is not recommended to use a previous version (pre 2.38) of
WinEVM once the database has been converted.

Caller ID in Telephone Output Field

The last Caller ID message (number) can be used in the Telephone output
field. By placing the upper-case letter ‘C’ in Telephone out field,
STARGATE will replace it with the numerical contents of the Caller ID
buffer. STARGATE puts a prefix onto the CID number as shown below:

CID Header: 001 Valid number
002 Private Number
003 Unknown Number
// example : 001-619-487-8787 (valid number)
// 003-000-000-0000 (unknown number)
